Green spaces, and trees in particular, reduce stress, improve mood and increase the ability to focus. I can sometimes offer this as an alternative to my therapy room.

After your initial enquiry, I will arrange an initial telephone conversation free of charge. This is an opportunity for us to discuss your need for counselling, your goals and hoped for outcomes as well as a chance for me to try to answer any questions you have about the process of therapy. It is a chance for you to decide whether you feel comfortable working with me and for me to consider whether I can be of assistance to you. In order for counselling to be successful you have to feel confident about your therapist and also be ready and willing to fully engage in the process. If we choose to go ahead, we would then arrange a regular time to meet at my therapy room.
During session, I will also give you a counselling agreement which outlines arrangements for payment, cancellation, ending well and also my confidentiality policy.
